Commercial pond building: Waterfall fountain

Sometimes the simplest commercial pond construction projects are the most elegant. Coupled with elements of color and low voltage lights set this waterfall  fountain apart especially at night. It is such an amazing difference when you add a small element like lighting to really make your project shine. There are so many low voltage light choices  that are made just for  pond projects.

The bottom pond and back wall are made of colored cement. To highlight and contract some of the cement is stained for a beautiful effect of aging. When working with cement for a Commercial pond construction project it is important to note that using the correct grade and brand of cement can make the difference between a success and a constant leaking mess.

This  pond area is approx. 10′ x 3′ and 8 inches deep. But of course the focus is the simple wall with the three one inch pipes pouring water into the pond below. A single pump regulates the flow of the recirculating water from the bottom of the pond to the pipes. In this pond installation it was decided to chlorinate the fountain but has a wonderful array of terrain plants for a professional  finished look.
