On occasion a customer will call and ask questions as to why the pond will just not clear up. Well, have you cleaned the filter pads?  Have you flushed or replaced the sand in the filtration system or have you cleaned out your pond recently? Sometimes when a customer does a pond clean and completely strips the pond of its natural bacteria, it can take months for the pond to balance back out again. If we cannot come up with a reason why the pond will not clear up and the customer just wants it fixed, I suggest a U.V. clarifier system. A ultra violet light kills the bad algae spores as the water moves through the U.V. tube which helps to keep the water clear.
